Our recipe for your child's academic success is simple and proven.

At JP Lloyd Learning we pair your child with tutors who understand the minds of students, teachers, and test writers.  We teach students how to compare, contrast, and connect concepts. Students gain a general understanding of the coursework and are also challenged to delve deeper into the topic through peer-to-peer learning in small groups. These groups are taught by thoroughly vetted, highly qualified tutors who either have undergraduate and/or graduate degrees, or are currently pursuing them.

Our tutors know the county and statewide curriculum as well as standardized tests. Our tutors know how to fully engage your student; this makes it easier for your student to retain information.  It also makes learning more fun and less intimidating.

In addition to in-facility small group tutoring, online tutoring, home schooling, and credit recovery, are also available. Standardized test prep for PSAT, SAT, ACT, GMAS and GED are offered as well. Our  recipe for success is simple and proven: the right tutor, plus the right setting, plus your student's commitment to learn, equals better grades and test scores.  This increases self-confidence and leads to a competitive academic transcript which can lead to college scholarships.

From the Director,
Joan Lloyd-Granston, Ed.S.

With over 35 years of excellence in education one passion I have always held is that the total development of the student is the only honest way to educate the future leaders of our communities.

During my tenure as an educator, I have headed the Science departments in "A" schools, one such school being Coral Springs Charter High, Coral Springs Florida.

I have had the pleasure of being the teacher selected to speak on the same platform with our 2005 USA secretary of Education on matters of our children's education in our public schools.

After the overwhelming cheers and standing ovation from the audience that delayed our main speaker I knew then that becoming a true advocate of our children's education was to literally participate in how they should be taught, (without petty obstructions).

JP Lloyd Learning Center evolved very soon after I struggled with all the thoughts that  attempted to interfere with this dream of educating all students within our walls to reach their maximum potential.
